Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on March 8, 2013
To celebrate CNY in February, we had an enjoyable cheongsam shoot with Miss World Malaysia 2012 first runner up, Vera Chang at Petaling Street! Vera has very beautiful facial features, especially her pointed nose:)
[November 24, 2012] Shernice Kah, Lovely Smile
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on January 8, 2013
First group shooting event with Shernice! We had the event at Setia Walk in Puchong, which is a new commercial area that has not yet forbidden photographers from doing group shooting (good news). Shernice is a freelance model with a sweet and charming smile. When she smiles, the whole world looks brighter!
[August 18, 2012] Carol Q, Happy Day Out
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on October 1, 2012
A happy day out with super cute model Carol! We did the group shooting at the streets at Publika shopping mall. This place is not really a good place for street shooting, because too many guards around. I like the outfits that the model wore on that day, very cute and a little sexy!
[May 19, 2012] Natasha, Red & Blue!
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on June 6, 2012
I believe Natasha is the first Russian model that I have ever worked with. She is not only beautiful, but also extremely tall (180cm!!)! She is very good at doing fashion poses and making cool expressions. All you need to do is keep snapping, she will do the rest^^ We did the shoot on a street. There were two interesting places with red and blue glasses, which created the special studio-like red and blue effects!
[November 20, 2011] Vanes Phung, Sweet Girl…
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on November 29, 2011
This is the afternoon session of Vanes‘s shoot. We did the shooting at another abandoned house. But the place had too many mosquitoes; hence, instead of shooting inside the house, we decided to do some casual shoot on the street right outside the abandoned house.
[September 16, 2011] Shermaine Chow, Street Angel (Part 2)
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on September 26, 2011
This is the afternoon session of Shermaine‘s street shoot. It rained for a while during our shoot. We hid under the shady areas of the shop lots nearby to avoid the rain and continue our shoot. Many thanks to Shermaine for her hard work!
[September 16, 2011] Shermaine Chow, Street Angel (Part 1)
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on September 26, 2011
Had a casual street shooting with Shermaine Chow on Malaysia Day holiday last week. Shermaine is a very cute and lovely model. Her super cute voice reminds me of a Taiwanese top model, Lin Chi Ling! This event is the morning session. The weather in the morning is terrific. We have sufficient sunlight to take nice pictures of the model!
[August 28, 2011] Jenna Gong, Greek Goddess
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on September 2, 2011
I was supposed to have two shooting events with Jenna Gong last week, but she was sick for the first event. Luckily, she managed to come for the second Street shoot event. Everything went well except that the street was a bit crowded. The model is extremely beautiful. I especially like her smile with very special and attractive mouth shape^^
[July 3, 2011] Jane Kwan, Some Old Pictures in the 50s…
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on July 12, 2011
Haven’t updated this blog for quite some time… here comes a new series of pictures taken last Sunday! The model, Jane Kwan, is a very professional model. She is very good at making Fashion poses. And the location, Petaling Street, is also awesome. The more-than-half-a-century old buildings add an interesting vintage feel to the pictures. I have added a frame to the pictures to make the pictures look like old pictures in the 50s… just to play with something new^^
[October 10, 2010] Ahlui, Street Shoot
Posted by msiamodel in Outdoor Model Shoot on October 20, 2010
This was really a very casual shoot. Casual in the sense that we took pictures right at the place where we met, which was besides the road… That day was Sunday, very few cars were passing by, so we tried some really crazy shots, like having the model sitting and standing in the middle of the road!! The effect turned out to be quite interesting. The model was still a high school student, very young and cute:) From this shoot, I learned that sometimes imagination is more important than location. And taking pictures at ordinary places can make your photos look very natural!
