Nicole Mok, another model for the same assassin theme shoot. She almost didn’t laugh during the whole shooting (because she was assassin mar…), but actually I prefer taking pictures of her smiling:D
First time organizing an outdoor shoot with a female assassin theme. The biggest challenge was to find fake guns that looked real. Luckily, I managed to find a few at the toy department of a hypermarket… And I’d invited Ng Hui Jeat and Nicole Mok to be the models. Their performance were superb! They didn’t complain a word even though most of the shooting was done under scorching sunlight! Also, I had to thank Jon for helping me to lead one group and bringing some additional props like samurai blades, gloves, and a Chinese fan. I’d added some grunge texture to the pictures, hope can create more interesting visual effect!
Futuromic Imaging Fair was supposed to be a camera fair, but when I went there, all my focus was on the beautiful showgirls there instead of cameras:P Each showgirl represented one brand. And there were about 20 showgirls for you to shoot (more than enough for a small event like this…). The event was also like a gathering of photographers, since I saw many familiar faces there, haha! Here are some of the pretty showgirls, enjoy!
Second time working with Kiiwii. I think I’d made the right decision choosing her for this OL theme shoot, because Kiiwii looked so OL when wearing OL outfits! She had also prepared several props, such as a laptop, a notebook, a pen, and a pair of glasses. They all added up to create an authentic OL feel! And we took pictures at a white office building near Dataran Merdeka. Next time maybe can also try doing OL shoot at Starbucks or other cafes with the model wearing stockings^^ Hope you guys like this series of OL pictures!
The abandoned houses at Maluri are probably the most famous abandoned houses in KL. What is so special about the abandoned houses here is that it is not just 1 building but a ROW of buildings. You will surely be impressed by its grandeur at first sight! I believe there used to be two rows of abandoned houses at that area, one has already been torn down, but you can still see it on google map:) I think the remaining one will be torn down very soon, since some constructions are going on nearby. Therefore, don’t hesitate to come here and take pictures of this beauty before it is too late… Another reason why Maluri abandoned houses have become so popular is because of its walls full of graffiti, which is great for model shooting as well.
This was really a very casual shoot. Casual in the sense that we took pictures right at the place where we met, which was besides the road… That day was Sunday, very few cars were passing by, so we tried some really crazy shots, like having the model sitting and standing in the middle of the road!! The effect turned out to be quite interesting. The model was still a high school student, very young and cute:) From this shoot, I learned that sometimes imagination is more important than location. And taking pictures at ordinary places can make your photos look very natural!
Had invited Agnes Lim for a shopping theme shoot last Saturday. She had now become one of the most favorite models for outdoor shoot in KL! She could keep smiling (naturally) for 3 hours without feeling tired, impressed by her professionalism!! During the shooting, we were stopped by the guards at Bukit Bintang for like three times, really difficult to do shooting there as a group… but I was quite satisfied with the outcome of the pictures, really got street shoot and shopping feel~~ hope you like the pictures as well!
This is my second bikini event! We did the shooting at a hotel room at Petaling Street. And the model is Renee Ang. I brought her all the way from Subang to KL, quite a long distance… She is a very outgoing model, having lots of conversations with the photographers during the shoot:) We had also tried some “wet” shoot in the bathroom with the model spraying water on her body, sexy sexy ><
Again, this good morning theme was suggested by Leong. The idea was to take pictures of the model waking up from bed, brushing teeth, and eating breakfast, quite an interesting theme. I managed to find a hotel room with big windows, so that we could have sufficient natural light to take good and sharp pictures. And the model was Joanne Lai. She was a very young and beautiful model with shiny big eyes! Hope all of you like this series of pictures. And I would be very grateful if any of you can help rate this post and leave me some comments^^
First time organizing a bikini shoot! You can imagine how excited I was! First of all, I would like to thank my friend who helped us to borrow the swimming pool. The swimming pool is simply awesome, just a little packed with people at noon time, otherwise it would be perfect! And the model is Jenny Foh, who is a very beautiful and friendly model. She has lots of experience in modeling, but this was only her second or third bikini shoot (how lucky we are!). I don’t think I need to say much about this bikini shoot… just enjoy the pictures!
